New to EVO Production Music, ‘The Future is Female’ is a fun female-fronted Pop record that puts the voices and writing of six hugely talented musicians and performers at the forefront. Taking in Hip Hop, R&B, and Nu Disco influences, the album provides a range of vibrant tracks with depth and nuance that are sure to find favor with Music Supervisors working in Film and TV as well as creators looking for instantly memorable hooks for advertising and promotions.
Released to coincide with Women’s History Month, the album helps launch FirstCom Music’s new initiative also titled ‘The Future Is Female‘; a dedication from all at FirstCom Music to help create a more diverse, inclusive and even playing field for women in production music.
Producer Christina May revealed more about the album; “‘The Future Is Female’ introduces six new female singer songwriters into the FirstCom Music catalog, which is something that I’m super excited about and proud of. The inclusion of women, especially in this business, is something I’m super passionate about so it’s been a passion project for me. There are so many female composers and musicians and engineers that are out there and they’re underrepresented in production music.”

Born and based in Los Angeles, the 22-year-old performer is a modern-day multi-hyphenate: singer, songwriter, producer, director and boundary-pushing creative. Jett Galindo (Mastering Engineer)
Los Angeles-based mastering engineer and vinyl cutter, Jett Galindo of The Bakery, has worked on albums spanning a wide array of genres and artists (Barbra Streisand, Haley Reinhart, Weezer, the La La Land OST, to name a few). Jett Galindo carries on the legacy left behind by her late mentor, mastering legend Doug Sax of The Mastering Lab.
Outside of mastering, Jett is actively involved with Soundgirls, an organization for women & LGBTQ working in the audio engineering field led by veteran live sound engineer Karrie Keyes (Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers). In addition, she serves as a contributing writer for iZotope’s widely popular LEARN portal.
